Our very own resident Harry has manged to fundraise just under £900 for Noah’s Ark Children Hospice, far surpassing everyone’s expectations given that the fundraising target was only £400. Harry raised the money for the hospice via the completion of a sponsored rock-climb with William Rees, Operations Manager of Magic Life Supported Living at the “Castle Climbing Centre” in Manor House.
Harry has dedicated two days a week for the last few months at improving his rock-climbing skills in the ‘Castle Climbing Centre’; and is very glad to see that the skills he has duly earned can be put into use in an effort to raise funds to help improve the lives of others and the well being of the local community.
For this fantastic achievement and the subsequent financial contribution to the Noah’s Ark Children Hospice’s ‘building the ark’ campaign, where they are trying to raise funds to build a new children’s hospice in North London, Harry was rewarded today with a congratulatory certificate from James Titley a Challenge Events Fundraiser of Noah’s Ark Children Hospice.
